Beyoncé recently opened up about her post-baby diet, which included cutting out… well, basically everything. Kate Hudson took a different, decidedly gentler approach to shedding her baby weight after the birth of her youngest child.
Now to be fair, Hudson didn’t have to headline Coachella a few months after having her baby. (And, well, Beyoncé isn’t a paid WW ambassador!) Instead of depriving herself of any one thing, though, Hudson now says that she got within a couple pounds of her goal weight six months after giving birth, “without stressing on food or working out like crazy.”
Hudson does admit that she had to remain very disciplined to shed her weight, and it also didn’t happen overnight. To caption an Instagram post in which she flashed her bare abs, the Fabletics founder wrote about following the diet plan’s points-based system:
“I’ve taken my time, I’ve stayed true to my @ww app which I am so grateful for our relationship and that they included me in their family because it’s an incredible set up. Easy as pie! And I can eat pie… except it’s anywhere from 9-22 points which is not the best move… I personally go for the 5 point wine or vodka martini for a treat.”
She later added: “Yes, active lifestyle I find enjoyable and yes, understanding food is a passion of mine but it doesn’t mean that I don’t need the support like everyone else. Sharing the little parts of my wellness journey with you makes me feel oh so good.”
